Josh and I headed to his friends' birthday bbq in Golden Gate Park. I didn't know many people, but it was still great. I love the park on an (almost) warm day. I took a bunch of awful pictures today, this being one of them.

This dinner was not Cinco de Mayo inspired at all. I just sort of made stuff up. It was some sort of soy sauce, sherry, garlic pork, topped with caramelized onions over a bed of quinoa.It wasn't bad, maybe a little too salty.

jason stuffed his face..
We all did.Jason, Uyen and I got dim sum for lunch. We tried South Sea Seafood Village for the first time. I thought it was pretty good, and despite the ornate crystal chandeliers, it wasn't expensive.

For Connie's going away dinner a bunch of students and teachers headed to her aunt's Indonesian restaurant. As it turns out, Connie had never been there either, apparently she preferred the Indonesian place down the block. Anyhow, I thought it was good. I asked her to order me something...good.
