california academy of sciences. the museum was very crowded, but so much fun- i can't wait to go back!i remember there being "really big bones" from the "old" museum, but for some reason i thought they were from dinosaurs. maybe that was a different museum, or maybe i've just seen "bringing up baby" too many times.

Yay for Bringing Up Baby! What I remember from the Academy of Sciences is the African diorama that cycled through the shifting light and sounds from day to night. And the atrium type area with alligators. And that's about it. Then it closed for years. When we plan an SF vacation, you'll have to take us to the reopened one.
well, if you come in the next year, i can get one of you in for free. i had so much fun i bought a membership, and members get to bring a guest for free.
